Russell R. Myers is Founder and CEO of Blue Ridge Industries, LLC, a “buy and build” holding company founded in 2005 to acquire distribution and manufacturing services businesses throughout the Southeastern United States. Prior to Blue Ridge Industries, LLC, Mr. Myers served as a Director and Vice President Finance for 18 years for Geneva Corporation, a privately held company formed in 1979 for the purpose of acquiring businesses for investment. Prior to joining Geneva Corporation, Mr. Myers was employed at Burlington Industries in several different capacities, including manufacturing, cost accounting, operations and financial reporting.
Mr. Myers attended Greensboro College where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Legal Administration. He currently serves on the Greensboro College Board of Trustees. He received an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with concentration in finance. Mr. Myers is a member of the Emeritus Advisors Society at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He previously served on the UNCG Bryan School of Business Advisory Board. In addition, he has served on the Children and Family Services of Greensboro Advisory Board.
Michael Pappas is CEO of Alpheus Capital Management (“ACM”), a single family office with offices in London, UK and Charlotte, NC. ACM is part of a European-based industrial and commercial group whose main interests comprise of Coca-Cola bottling and ancillary products. ACM manages private equity investments in Europe, North America, China and Australia. It is particularly active in the Southeastern USA with holdings in Frontier Capital, Charlotte (of which Mike was a founding member and today sits on the Advisory Board), Capital South Partners, Charlotte (where Mike sits on the Advisory Board) and Blue Ridge Capital Holdings (where Mike is a board member). Prior to joining ACM in the early 1990s, Mike was in the M&A Department of Nationsbank Investment Banking Company, and before that with KPMG. Mike is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Scotland (equivalent to a US CPA) and holds a Degree in Law from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Philip D. Fowler, III is President, Chief Operating Officer and a Board Member of Geneva Holdings, LLC and Geneva Parent, LLC (real estate and investment holding company), and is a Director of Nixon Power Services. He is past chairman of Covington Power Services, the Detroit Diesel Allison Distributor Executive Committee and a former Director of the North Carolina Trucking Association. Prior to joining Geneva in 1993, Mr. Fowler was Executive Vice President of Hatteras Yacht Company, spending over 20 years in various executive management roles at the business.
Mr. Fowler serves as Chairman of the Greensboro Advisory Board for Wells Fargo Bank. Mr. Fowler also serves on the Advisory Board for the Bryan School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; as well as the Endowment Fund of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro; on the Board of Directors for Blue Ridge Industries and the Cross Company; and is a past member of the High Point Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.
Mr. Fowler graduated from Susquehanna University with a B.S. Degree in Business and received an Executive Management Degree from Babson College. Phil and his wife, Teresa, reside in High Point, North Carolina and Camden, Maine.
Matthew Scarborough is a native Georgian. After receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Insurance from the University of Georgia, he was employed by John Deere Insurance, leaving as Vice President – Industrial Sales. In 1985, Matthew founded Scarborough & Associates, LLC, a successful commercial lines insurance agency. Happily married to Debbi for 21 years, Matthew is the proud father of two boys, Steven and Sam. With a strong sense of civic pride, he has been involved in numerous charities throughout Georgia. Most recently Matthew & Debbi are Co-Founders of a non-profit school, Cumberland Academy of Georgia. It specializes in the needs of children with high-functioning Autism, Asperger’s, LD, ADD and ADHD.
Pamela Streeter has served as Controller for Blue Ridge Industries, LLC since it was founded in 2005. Prior to this, Pam was the Assistant Controller for seven years with Geneva Corporation, a privately held company formed in 1979 for the purpose of acquiring businesses for investment. Prior to joining Geneva Corporation, Pam was employed by IKON Office Solutions as the Controller. Pam earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Carol Peters is responsible for all investor relations, provides executive support and manages daily office operations for Blue Ridge Industries, LLC. Prior to her position with Blue Ridge Capital Holdings, LLC in 2005, when the company was founded, Carol joined Geneva Corporation (and its affiliates) in 1999 where she served as an Executive Assistant. Before joining Geneva Corporation, she held various executive administrative positions in a variety of industries.
Jeffrey Dailey joined SPATCO Energy Solutions in February, 2009 as CFO and was appointed to his current position as President in late 2009. Prior to joining SPATCO, Jeff was with Textron for 14 years where he served as Vice President of Finance/Controller for the Jacobsen Division.
Jeff has a Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, is a Certified Public Accountant (WI) and a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
John Force has been with SPATCO Energy Solutions since June, 1997. In his time with SPATCO, John has headed up the IT group, Materials Management, Purchasing and since 2009 the company’s Service division. Prior to joining SPATCO, John worked for Sykes Enterprises as a consultant managing major ERP installations. John has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Florida State University.
Jamie Coffey joined SPATCO Energy Solutions in January, 2015, as Vice President of Finance, bringing 15 years of experience from a variety of industries. Prior to joining SPATCO, Jamie spent 5 years each with Celgard, LLC and Newell-Rubbermaid after beginning his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Charlotte. Jamie has an MBA from Wake Forest University as well as a Masters Degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (NC) as well as a Certified Management Accountant.
Wayne Wallace, President and CEO, joined Augusta Coating & Manufacturing in 2002, providing more than 20 years of operating experience from positions at Jacobsen, Kingston Metal Corporation and Blue Bird Buss Company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, with a concentration in Business Management from Wingate University. He has completed further coursework in International Business at the Thunderbird International School of Business.
Rob Whitton, Vice President of Sales, Joing Augusta Coating & Manufacturing in July 2017, bringing 25 years of experience in sales and management. Prior to joining ACM, Rob was a Senior Regional Sales Manager in the architectural coatings business for PPG Industries, a global supplier of paints, coatings, specialty materials and fiberglass. He has had previous experience working in the food, beverage, architectural chemical, healthcare and construction industries. An Atlanta native, Rob holds a B.S. in Business Management from Georgia Southern University.
Burch Nolan, Vice President of Sales, joined Augusta Coating & Manufacturing in 2004 with experience in sales and management related positions from other manufacturing facilities in Georgia and Tennessee. He studied applied Engineering Technology at Oak Ridge Associated College.
Trip Bates joined Galileo Technologies North America (GTNA), a Blue Ridge Industries Portfolio company, in June 2017 as Managing Director. GTNA is the Managing Distributor responsible for the U.S. and Canada for Galileo Technologies, Inc. natural gas compression equipment. Prior to joining GTNA, Trip was with Smith Power Products, Inc, where he served as President & COO. Prior to that role, Trip was with United Engines and served in various sales and management roles. Trip has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas – Austin.
